Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
Hours are published for 4 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (917) 848-0529. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 153 reviews, which is a strong result for a dental hygienist in New York and suggests consistent service.
New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I discovered Denise via Chatgpt and she was excellent! Seriously the best teeth cleaning I've had in my life. Denise is extremely particular, knowledgable and thorough. She spent far more time with me than at any other teeth cleaning appointment. And, she had clear insights into which products to use and why, which not to use and also some homemade remedies that anyone can make at home. Recommend 100%!

Denise Craig is the best hygienist I have ever had. Prior to going to Denise I had a number of hygienists but none came close to her! She is a true professional and my teeth look and feel amazing after each cleaning. Denise does not just clean my teeth but always gives me sound advice and suggestions for keeping my teeth and gums healthy. She is a pleasure to work with and has a warm and caring manner. I highly recommend her.

I have been a patient of Denise for almost 20 years. She is without question the best of the best. No one has ever come close to her level of expertise, attention, friendly manner, professionalism. Denise is extremely thorough and the results prove it. Her cleanings are detailed and she is passionate about improving the health of patients' mouths. Her appointment goes beyond the cleaning because she shares her considerable knowledge about how to keep your teeth and mouth healthy at home. The office environment is first rate and super clean. I can't really say enough about how fabulous she is at her job. I am most grateful to Denise for getting my mouth much healthier and I look forward to many more years as her patient.
